Chapter: 1;1 | Little Feet

"My little boy will be here soon, I know it."

Naomi mumbled to herself while at the computer, she was working on her newest fiction book. 

To no surprise her water broke the next morning while she was watching the cooking channel as usual.

So she got herself dressed and began the long walk to the hospital.

Dejuan eventually woke up, he seemed a bit lazy about the whole thing.

Naomi did not appreciate having to wait half an hour for Dejuan to arrive.

But when he did arrive, they both excitedly entered the hospital, looking forward to seeing their first child.

After a lot of waiting, Naomi gave birth to a little boy like she had hoped. She named him Norbie.

The first time Dejuan held Norbie he was scared, but filled with a strange sense of pride.

Dejuan cared for Norbie that first day the tot was home, Naomi appreciated the help.

Although it always seemed that Norbie got on better with his mother, than his father.

Unfortunately the joys of a new child do not save them from housework, and together they keep the home in order.

Now that baby Norbie is home, Dejuan can go back to practising without worrying.

And Naomi can go back to writing books whenever baby Norbie is asleep.

Naomi is also trying to pick up a bit of gardening talents, she's growing lettuce right now.

Surprisingly enough the bond between Dejuan and Naomi has only gotten stronger with this new child.

Naomi has started to collect a lot of pictures of her husband.

NOTES

I was so unprepared for a little'n, because their house isn't finished they had to re-arrange the furniture in the shed but at least the house is getting there, it's got the main structure built. Every time one of them gets paid 90% of the money goes toward the new house... 

They both have full time jobs, Naomi gardens and writes, and Dejuan busks or steals veggies from their neighbours. Hopefully they'll pull through and move into their house soon :D 

Norbie was born with the traits Virtuoso (like his father) and Althetic.

Prologue: 3 | Expecting Parents

"Please Aiden! Leave me alone! I'm a married woman!"

Naomi is getting fed up of this man, he refuses to take a hint.

Naomis computer broke, so she did her best to try and fix it...

But clearly that didn't go so well, so she called a technician. 

Naomi and Dejuan both had the day off, so they spoke about how they wanted a baby.

Which led to them trying for a baby. 

With a potential child on the way and not a lot of money in their pockets, Dejuan decided he would run out the the park and busk a little.

Later that afternoon we came to realise she was pregnant, she thought she had out of date cereal.

It had been a while since the pair were so close, they look forward to being parents.

The next day she discovered that she was expecting whilst at work, she was quite sad that she could no longer work but was filled with a new sense of  excitement. 

She hesitantly waited outside the front door for her husband to come home from busking, he seemed to be rather anxious himself.

"I can't believe we're going to be parents" Dejuan whispered into her ear during the embrace. 

She was glad he was excited as well.

After work that night Dejuan did his best to sneak into the nearby gardens to steal vegetables that he could sell. Every simoleon helps at this point.

Mother-to-be has gotten into the habit of watching the cooking channel most mornings.

Even though there may be a baby inside of her, nothing stops this lass from doing a few chores.

NOTES

I'm very, very worried about this. I don't really want her to have a baby yet, they're constantly battling for simoleons and are practically taking up theft to survive. Dejuan busks in the mornings before work then steals vegetables and fruits in the evenings after work, Naomi chills and learns how to cook while working from home. I'm scared.

Prologue: 2 | Collecting Promotions.

"I might as well visit the boss before work..." 

"Then again they seem kind of busy...Maybe later..."

Dejuan seems to have the worst timing imaginable.

"They're not looking, so it's perfectly decent." Dejuan assured himself as he picked up his bosses guitar and took it outside to practice.

Shortly after work Naomi paid a visit to the local library, she really needed to improve her pen work so she could get a promotion, without one she feared she might run into more money problems. 

With the money they were earning Dejuan was able to buy himself a guitar, he greatly enjoyed practising in the rain and swore he would never put the instrument down. 

Dejuans favourite weather is rain, because he can splash in puddles and feel young again.

Aiden, Naomis' bosses' husband, has a crush on Naomi. He keeps sending her gifts and asking her on dates. Naomi is not interested, but likes the free things.

Dejuan got a promotion, he was glad that his boss had noticed his natural talent with a guitar and hopes he'll climb the ladder to success quickly.

His current favourite place to practice is outside the outhouse, he finds that it makes life easier.

Naomi was quite happy when she got a promotion, she hated her position and knows that her boss will find her talents sooner or later. 

"The pancakes at work are delicious, you should make some!" Naomi wanted to share her adventures with her husband, it had been a while since they spoke.

They'd been so stressed about work and money that they had forgotten to spend a few minutes to talk, they missed each others company greatly, and look forward to a shared day off.

With the raise in income, they managed to save up enough money to buy a computer for Naomi, now she can work on her writing at home and doesn't need to rush to the library every other day!

The next night was a full moon, this and everything else that had happened recently drove Naomi to freak out a little bit, she felt much better afterwards and went to bed. 

Dejuan loves his guitar, so much that he forgot to put on clothes before heading out to practice.

Work has been recognising Dejuan a lot more recently, they got him to send in a musicians application at the city hall...

And preform at an assembly in the school. He decided that because the school is so far away from home, he would teach his future children himself.

Recently Naomi has felt like she wanted children more than ever, perhaps it's because of the fact they're making money now, but she knows they're not ready for a family just yet. 

When something breaks in the Arimi household, Naomi will be found cleaning up the mess.

Naomi spotted a wild horse outside and was left wondering if a horse of their own would be more or less helpful. Pets would be nice, she concluded.

With his promotion to backstage crew he's been debating if having a child right now would be wise, he's always wanted one afterall, and if Naomi is thinking about it... He'll need to start building their house.

NOTES

Literally at the end of the day just played Naomi rolled a "have child with Dejuan" wish, so I guess that's the goal for right now. Scrap that, they both want to have their first child, guess we're having a little baby already then.

The pair have been getting promotions like crazy, it's good for the income. I'm thinking of building a little house for them on the same lot and converting the current place into like a workshop or something? Maybe.
